n. Grass Mud Horse. A nickname for a llama .

interj. A symbol of defiance against Internet censorship in China because it sounds like the expletive 操你妈 [cào nǐ mā] “fuck your mother.”

好多人都堆雪人,还堆草泥马,不过我觉得这个最形象!还在吃草啊!

Many people are making snowmen and grass mud horses, but I think this is the most vivid one! And it’s carrying some grass in its mouth.
