bubble-tea

When I was at high school I had a friend. He did not like eating the “pearls” [tapioca balls] in the Pearl Milk Tea [bubble tea]. Every time he only drank the milk tea and left the pearls with me. Later I met another person who only liked the pearls in the bubble tea, so he always let me drank the milk tea and asked me to save the pearls for him. Throughout my high school years, the thing that was more important than the College Entrance Exam was—preventing them from meeting each other.
